Sleeping Slay

And we wondered why Slay was so quiet..........

Snow 2009

I made the comment Saturday night that I would love for it to snow so the boys could see it and play in it! Well, be careful what you wish for! Imagine my surprise when I woke up at 4 a.m. to see it snowing!

We couldn't wait to wake up the boys...but first, we had to dig out some cold weather clothes....of which we had little to choose from! The boys had a ball. I went out mostly just to snap some photos, but did take one ride down the hill with Stratton on a garbage can top....It was quite a sight! And this is our neighbor, Adam with Elle!

Sharpe wasn't much on riding down the hill, but did enjoy just walking around and being cute....until he fell.....

Gotta love when kids are asked to fill in the blank.....Sharpe says sheeps eat pizza and Stratton notes that he wants to be a coach!

Bowling Birthday Party

Another Saturday spent singing "Happy Birthday to you....". This time we went to the bowling alley. The boys have never been bowling, so this was an adventure. As usual, we had to "force" Stratton to play and Sharpe jumped right in! Fun fun!

Trip to See Nana & Papa

Okay, I'm a bad daughter. It's been over 2 months since my parents have seen Slay, but we fixed that this past week with a trip to Vicksburg! I'm not sure who smiled more.....Slay or my Mom and Dad!

Slay also got to go on his first walk (see photo with Mom).

Slay got to meet his "Oma" (German for grandmother)

And Nana had her picture taken for the newspaper. Isn't she beautiful?

And then there's Pierre.....the poodle....
